Appearance: A few sentences on the character's appearance. Do they have any tattoos, scars, ticks? Add them here! Chris has brown hair, like most of the Halliwell family (except Wyatt), and green eyes, the same color as his Aunt Prue. He tends to alternate his hair cut short and spikey or longer and worn down. Likewise with his facial hair, Chris tends to alternate between clean shaven and scruffy. at 6'1", he's close to the tallest Halliwell, his brother Wyatt an inch taller.
Chris, despite being through multiple battle and injuries, actually doesn't have any scars. Healing doesn't leave any. Chris's style clothing wise is a pair of well worn jeans, and a t-shirt. He has a big fondness for hoodies, and has one in almost every color.

Chris’s story starts near the end, when he comes back from an alternate dark future to try and save his family. Also see his Wikia entry for further info.
Chris Halliwell is the second son of Piper Halliwell, a Charmed One, and Leo Wyatt, a Whitelighter. He has one older brother, Wyatt,(Wyatt and Chris are in fact the first males born in 300 years into the Warren line of Witches. Up until now the line has been strictly matrilineal. Chris's great-grandmother even went as far as to wonder what went wrong when Wyatt was born.) and one younger sister, Melinda(her existence depends on how much of the future Chris has changed). As such, his life hasn’t exactly been a calm one. He grew up with the circle of protective magic his family works being broken, the Charmed Ones no more. (Note that Chris’s history changes and at times seems contradictory. This is both in part to the fact that Chris lies about his past for most of the time we see him, and the fact that he is from an alternate future, and time changes as he influences it. For example he both says that Paige died before his birth, severing the Charmed Ones and subsequently that he always goes to her for pocket money.)
In Chris’s reality, his mother Piper died when he was fourteen, and his father Leo was never around, constantly being pulled in other directions as a whitelighter. Even worse, sometime before he was born, evil influenced his big brother Wyatt, skewing his view of morality. Wyatt himself is much more powerful than Chris, having not only more abilities but more of a destiny, and even being able to use magic in utero(Wyatt's so powerful he gave Piper this practically invincible shield when she was pregnant. She also became self healing.). Chris meanwhile couldn’t use magic until he was two. Wyatt grew up to terrorize the world, and without the full power of the Charmed Ones to stop him, help raise him correctly, the world got very dark indeed. Wyatt basically grows up to be Darth Vader.
Desperate to save his family, and not live in a world that’s crumbling into darkness, Chris goes back in time not only to a point before Wyatt got changed, but before Chris himself was even conceived. Setting Leo up for a promotion and sneaking in as the Charmed Ones new Whitelighter, Chris tries time and after time to go after evil, in hopes of circumventing Wyatt’s old destiny. Unfortunately in doing so, he almost does irreparable harm to his family and almost stops his own conception by driving his parents apart.
Eventually he is found out by the sisters and forced to admit that he is actually Piper and Leo’s son, bringing his family back together just before he helps his family succeed in stopping the evil that turns Wyatt. Unfortunately it ended in his death, AU!Chris dying from a stab wound moments before Piper gives birth to baby Chris.
He's given (yet another) chance when he grows up in this Good Future, with Wyatt retaining his humanity. Chris however, is haunted by the memories of his own past selves and Wyatt's actions in the Dark Future.
Personality:
Chris takes after his mom, Piper. He is snarky, irreverent, completely neurotic and unlike his father definitely not a pacifist. This is important to note as he is half whitelighter and whitelighters are by nature pacifists. Chris is definitely not. In fact he has a ‘the ends justify the mean’s mentality, even going so far as to murder 3 Valkyries just so he can have the Charmed Ones infiltrate them. He’s very pragmatic. He’ll do what needs to be done, even if it means getting his hands dirty. He’s outright killed, infiltrated the Underworld, consorted with demons, anything that means succeeding in his plans.
Chris also has a severe inferiority complex to his big brother Wyatt. Wyatt, who not only had a powerful prophecy about him (Twice-Blessed Child), but he also had powers as a fetus, got a ton of magical farm animals for his birthday(unicorn, golden goose, etc) and Excalibur. That’s right. The kid got Excalibur. And what did Chris get? Nothing. Growing up next to an insanely powerful magical prodigy was not fun. It also didn't help that Dark!Wyatt picked on him and would magically beat him up. He always felt like he couldn’t live up to Wyatt. Wyatt was simply better at everything, more powerful, had more abilities and always got all the attention. Chris had to fight for everything, or at least, felt like he had to fight for everything. As such, he doesn’t give up, and he’s more than a bit neurotic, stubborn and driven.
The man doesn’t know how to relax - at least when he has a mission. He tends to handle stress like his mother Piper, and throws all his energy into demon hunting/maiming/killing. When he does manage to relax, Chris completely breaks all the rules, and makes more spectacularly bad decisions. (Like having sex with a new charge he was supposed to protect, drinking on the job and generally being a lazy brat.)
Because Piper died when he was a teenager and his father was never there for him, Chris also has abandonment issues, which also manifest as an inability to let himself feel fully. He's careful with his feelings and his heart, it's gotten hurt way to often.
Since he grew up without a proper family, Chris is often secretive and his decision making making abilities aren’t that great. In fact, he tends to make bad decisions, and not tell anyone until it’s too late(like causing his parents to separate, thus almost preventing his own conception).
In the Good Future, Chris is more relaxed. However, since he still remembers the past, even if he himself didn't live it, it plays on his personality. While his big brother Wyatt has a lot more powers, Chris is more the brain. It still bugs him, but he knows they work better as a team--as well as what happens if Wyatt turns again.
Powers/Abilities/Talents:
Being a Whitelighter-Witch hybrid, Chris has a bunch of different abilities.
Witch abilities:
He has the basic witch powers of spellcasting, scrying, mediumship and potion making.
Spellcasting: This ability is usually triggered by a rhyme or a haiku. It may be used in conjunction with potions.
Scrying: Chris is able to use his abilities to scry using a crystal and a map to find objects or people.
Mediumship: The ability to see ghosts or otherworldly, supernatural beings.
Potion Making:The ability to make potions out of seemingly normal objects. He's able to tap into the object's inherent magic and use it for potions.
Telekinesis: Has the power to move objects with his mind. Chris uses his hands to do this. It's triggered by anger. A side power of this is telekinetic crushing. Chris is able to use this ability to telekinetically crush objects. At one point in canon he uses this ability to crush the hearts of the Valkyries). Another byproduct of his telekinetic abilities is the power to affect teleportation. At one point he interferes with Leo's orb, altering his destination.
High Resistance: Chris, like other witches in his family, has a high resistance to damage by physical and magical attacks. This has enabled him to survive otherwise lethal attacks. A Darklighter's arrows, however, are not affected by this ability. Even a small wound, like a paper cut, when dipped in the poison used by a Darklighter, can kill him. Their poison attacks his Whitelighter half on a genetic level. As a result, the poison kills him slowly and painfully, as well as neutralizing his own powers. It can be cured by healing.
His Whitelighter abilities are as follows:
Sensing: Chris can sense his charges, both magical and mortal. He can hear them calling him miles away (and even put you on mute), can sense/feel if they're in danger, hurt, angry, etc. He can also hear other whitelighters or elders calling him. This ability is no doubt supposed to help Whitelighters steer their charges in their destined direction.
Orbing: Chris can orb, which is a kind of teleportation. His body breaks down into blue/white orbs and reassembles at his intended destination.
Telekinetic orbing: Moving objects telekinetically with orbs. This ability is a combination of his whitelighter ability to orb and his witch ability of telekinesis. Chris technically has this ability but only used it as a baby and when he was evil. His adult, good self tends to use telekinesis more than telekinetic orbing.
Photokinesis: The ability to create and manipulate light using orbs. That's pretty much all it does. It can't be used offensively, but makes a great emergency light bulb and creates pretty designs.
Healing: Chris, unlike other whitelighters, cannot heal. This is most likely due to having not found the trigger for this ability yet. Healing is hard, and is triggered by a profound sense of love. With his background and emotional instability, it’s hard for Chris to let himself feel that deeply. If he is ever taught how to heal/finds the trigger, there are some limitations. He can't heal the dead, and he can't heal himself.
Omnilingualism: Whitelighters are able to speak the language of their charges. They can only speak said language when talking to their charges, not say when on vacation in France.

Let's get this out of the way. Elder. I know you're there. If you want something, just tell me. The jingling really gets old and it's not exactly as if we can just go Up There to have a chat. Then again, you're an Elder. So I guess you can technically do whatever the hell you want.
On the other hand, if you have a problem with me being only half-whitelighter, you might want to keep your opinions to yourself. The last Elder who thought like that ended up dead.
